These Terms and Conditions apply to purchases made through https://www.quietwalls.ie.

When these Terms use “we,” “us” or “our,” they refer to the legal trader identified above. “You” and “your” refer to the customer.
Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under Irish consumer law.
1. Using Our Website
You must be at least 18 years old or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian to place an order.
You agree to provide accurate and complete contact, payment and delivery information. You must not use the website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes or interfere with its normal operation.
2. Product Information
We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, dimensions, specifications, images, prices and availability are accurate .
Natural wood veneer can vary in colour, tone, grain and pattern. Screens and lighting may also affect how colours appear. These reasonable natural or display-related differences are not necessarily product defects.
Please check all dimensions, product specifications and installation requirements before ordering, cutting or installing a product.
3. Prices and Taxes
All prices are displayed in euro.
Prices include any taxes that QuietWalls.ie is legally required to charge. Any delivery charge or other mandatory charge will be clearly disclosed before you complete payment.
Standard delivery within the Republic of Ireland is currently free.
We may change prices at any time, but a price change will not affect an order we have already accepted.
If an obvious pricing or product-information error occurs, we may contact you to explain the issue and offer the choice of confirming the order at the correct price or cancelling it for a full refund.
4. Placing an Order
The products displayed on our website are an invitation to place an order rather than a binding offer by QuietWalls.ie.
When you submit an order, you are offering to purchase the selected products under these Terms. You will receive an electronic order acknowledgement.
A sales contract is formed when we confirm acceptance or dispatch the goods. We may decline or cancel an order before acceptance where:
- A product is unavailable
- Payment has not been authorised
- Delivery information is incomplete or incorrect
- An obvious price or product-description error has occurred
- We reasonably suspect fraud or unlawful activity
If payment has already been collected for an order we cannot accept, we will issue a full refund.
5. Payment
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods displayed during checkout.
You must be authorised to use the selected payment method. Orders may be subject to payment-provider security checks.
We do not store complete payment-card details. Payments are processed by the payment providers made available through our Shopify checkout.
6. Delivery
We deliver within the Republic of Ireland using DPD.
Orders placed Monday to Friday are normally delivered within two working days. Orders placed outside working hours, at weekends or on public holidays begin processing on the next working day.
Delivery dates are estimates unless we have expressly agreed a guaranteed date in writing.

7. Transfer of Risk
Responsibility for the goods transfers to you when they are delivered to you or to a person nominated by you to receive them.
Ownership of the goods transfers to you once we have received full payment.
8. Online Cancellation Rights
For most standard products purchased online, you may cancel without giving a reason by notifying us within 14 days of receiving the goods.
After notifying us, you have a further 14 days to return the goods.
The customer is responsible for change-of-mind return transport costs. QuietWalls.ie is responsible for reasonable return or collection costs where goods are faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied.

9. Faulty or Misdescribed Goods
Goods must conform to the sales contract and meet the standards required by Irish consumer law.
If goods are faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise do not conform to the contract, you may be entitled to repair, replacement, a price reduction or refund, depending on the circumstances.

10. Installation and Product Use
You are responsible for checking that the selected product is suitable for the intended location and use.
Products should be stored, handled, cut and installed according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Acoustic treatment and soundproofing are not the same. Acoustic panels are primarily intended to reduce echo and reverberation within a room and should not be represented as a complete structural soundproofing system.
We recommend using a suitably qualified installer where you are uncertain about installation, wall condition, fire requirements or suitability for a commercial building.
Nothing in this section excludes liability for a product that was faulty or unsafe when supplied.
11. Availability
Product availability can change without notice. Adding an item to your basket does not reserve it.
If an ordered product becomes unavailable, we will contact you and offer an appropriate alternative where possible or issue a refund for the unavailable item.
12. Promotions and Discount Codes
Promotions and discount codes are subject to any specific terms displayed with the promotion.
Unless otherwise stated, discount codes:
- Cannot be exchanged for cash
- Cannot be combined with another code
- Apply only during the stated promotional period
- May exclude particular products or categories
13. Liability
We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, defective products where statutory liability applies, or a breach of your statutory consumer rights.
Subject to the above, we are not responsible for losses caused by:
- Incorrect measurements supplied by the customer
- Installation contrary to the supplied instructions
- Unauthorised modification, cutting or misuse
- Events outside our reasonable control
If you purchase as a consumer, we are responsible for losses that were a foreseeable result of our breach of the contract.
14. Privacy
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Shopify and selected service providers may process information where necessary to operate the store, process payments, prevent fraud and deliver orders.
15. Intellectual Property
The content of this website, including QuietWalls.ie branding, original text, graphics and website design, is protected by applicable intellectual-property law.
Manufacturer names, trademarks and product images remain the property of their respective owners.
You may not reproduce or commercially use protected website content without permission.
16. Events Outside Our Control
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, transport disruption, strikes, system outages or government action.
We will contact affected customers where reasonably possible and take appropriate steps to minimise the delay.
Your statutory rights concerning non-delivery or excessive delay remain unaffected.

18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Irish law.
If you are a consumer resident in Ireland, disputes may be brought before the Irish courts. You may also have rights to use the courts or consumer-protection procedures available in the country where you normally reside where applicable.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our business, website or legal obligations.
